Vacuum lifters have become the ‘go to’ operator controlled lift assist for industrial sack lifting processes. Vacuum lifting equipment is now a widely recognised industrial standard tool for solving repetitive manual handling issues. And there are fewer more repetitive manual handling tasks than sack lifting – either through de-palletizing, re-palletizing or simply the palletizing process for finished product.

A wide range of powdered product comes in paper and plastic sacks – generally weighing between 20 and 40kg, which can be stacked as high as 1700mm. Removing an individual sack for positioning in a rip and tip process is hard work for even the fittest of workers.
